Library of Congress Virtual National Book Festival

This annual festival features more than 100 distinguished authors across many fields and in all genres of writing. Festival-goers can meet and hear firsthand from their favourite poets and authors, get books signed, hear special entertainment, have photos taken with storybook characters and participate in a variety of activities.

2021 Event Details: Create your National Book Festival experience with the Library of Congress in 2021 by engaging in author conversations online, watching the PBS Books special, listening to an NPR podcast series and attending a ticketed event at the Library. Join us for an expanded festival, Sept. 17-26, a 10-day event with the theme, “Open a Book, Open the World.”
