Am I in trouble for downloading from Popcorn Time even with a VPN?

I’m in the UK using Cyberghost VPN to download films from Popcorn Time. I’m scared I get done for copyright infringement issues?

I just got an automated (potential scam) call saying I was being done for fraud and I hung up immediately. Should I be worried about what I am doing?

No vpn is totally fool proof, but sounds like a regular scam call. Government agencies don’t use robot callers

You just need to check what is best choice for you, where you got best and closest servers.
If it is Cyberghost then go with that, every VPN is a risk.

You will get that type of msg from pirate websites all the time, don’t be scary.

The two topics are unrelated.

From what i understand they don’t bother you for torrenting…safer law’s.

DO NOT use cyberghost. Get a paid VPN, the cheapest one is probably windscribe, you can get a single location for 1 pound a month or something.

ISPs or copyright trolls will never call you and would never call you with an automated call.

Try to connect to Switzerland server if available…

Use uBlock Origin on top of a VPN to block ads.

I don’t think “every VPN is a risk”. There’s the “low hanging fruit” aspect to consider.

Cyberghost is a paid vpn

I travel a lot so maybe one location wouldn’t be good for me, what do you think?

Do you write just to write something or u r serious?
Every VPN is a risk on this world. You don’t know where are encryption keys and who are behind servers. Who can intercept traffic. There are no 100 % guarantees

But it’s got a free unlimited option, it’s trash.

You should wonder about whether or not your just simply uninformed. As well as histrionic. Do you even know what “low hanging fruit” means?

No Fancy, please explain to me
