Regarding Angel VPN in the UHF app, what do the protocol options mean, automatic, OpenVPN (UDP and TCP), IKEv2 and IPsec? Which option should I choose?
And in UHF it says that the VPN only affects the UHF app and not the whole Apple TV, but that’s not happening to me. When I activate the VPN on UHF, it’s active for the whole Apple TV. Anyone else with this issue?
Would not touch it. I have a VPN strategy in place and did not want to mess with it.
ATV has a nice control panel feature where I toggle. Sometimes I get block and need a different location
If you go to the VPN settings in the UHF app you can deselect Always On, then it will only run when UHF is open and will not affect other apps.
You don’t need a vpn at all unless your ISP is blocking your service. If it works without a vpn is best to leave it off. This isn’t the same as torrents, you don’t need a vpn.

That’s not your ISP, that’s your IPTV service not able to handle the load for those events. If it was your ISP everything would be blocked.
