API Servers not updating automatically

Just updated to the latest version of Popcorn time after not using it for 6 months or so and API servers aren’t updating automatically, so I have no access to series or anime sections.

Anyone able to point me in the direction of the current APIs, or even better suggest a way of fixing this?

Copy/paste/enter one of these links: https://fusme.link/, https://jfper.link/ into your browser’s address box, do you get Ivan’s RU server notice. If so, the API’s are working … not being blocked?

If you don’t mind losing bookmarks (or don’t use them) … try this:

Scroll to bottom of ‘Settings’ window
… Click: “Flush all databases” > “Are you sure?” > “Restart” > “I Accept” (wait…) > (Success) “Restart”.

thanks, I tried that last night with no success. Just tried it again and still not working.
Both show up as “site can’t be reached”, i’m guessing my uni is blocking them. My VPN isn’t working right now so i’ll try again in a bit.

haha yup, normally my VPN gets past it. I tried to access those links yesterday (i’m guessing I found them while lurking on here lmao) but I can’t remember whether I successfully used the VPN to get on there or not.

I can now see those links but even with the VPN on the APIs aren’t updating, guessing this is a me problem lmao. I’m going home from uni tomorrow so i’ll see if it works there.

FYI, I had mentioned in another post that sometimes I can’t get the APIs or app to update with the VPN “on”. Then when I switch the VPN to “off” everything updates - literally in a few seconds. This technique has worked for a few other people also. Just make sure to switch the VPN back on to start using it again.
