ARM support soon (official support)

I have been extensively researching VPN solutions that are getting ARM support out in their products. Looks like the BETA is out. I am not a customer yet, but was seriously considering it if I knew official support was coming soon.

I have two windows laptops (one is ARM) and an Android phone. Currently using Malwarebytes Privacy VPN but they don’t have ARM support and they don’t look to support it anytime soon. Using Cloudflare Warp+ as a stop gap, but it’s an additional cost $5 a month, and not a “true” privacy focused VPN. Does it make sense to pay now with hopes official support is soon? My Malwarebytes subscription is up this winter and don’t think I will renew with them.

You can always use the standard WireGuard client to load Mullvad profile.

Went ahead and paid for a year and installed it on all devices. Had to use the ARM beta for my Surface, but it does work. I think Malwarebytes is going to wait to release their VPN until after Microsoft gets the right drivers our for their AV product to also work. That could be 2025. Hopefully Mullvad works out like I think it will.

If ARM support is important to you, you might want to wait until it’s fully released. For now, you might want to use a short-term option that meets your needs without making long-term payments. Keep an eye on Mullvad’s changes to find the best time.

Beta version 2 of the ARM app was released and available on their Git Hub

Thanks. Looking for the official app to get all the features. Just not a lot of apps with official ARM support yet.

Thanks. I have another month. I will keep checking. Maybe Malwarebytes will get their ARM release out. Either way I prefer to stay with the Mullvad infrastructure. I figure ARM based PCs have sold pretty well since launch this summer and more will be sold for the upcoming holiday season. Hopefully this means companies will get their ARM clients out officially.

Form payment I am guessing vouchers from Amazon aren’t refundable.
