TL;DR:
Does the UDM SE support sending country specific traffic over the site-to-site VPN connection or would I need to use the VPN client and VPN server feature on it to create a policy for that type of traffic?
So here’s the situation. I recently moved from NL (Netherlands) to AU (Australia) and before I left, i moved some of my homelab stuff with a family member in NL together with a UDM SE because i figured I was going to need/want connectivity to NL for whatever reason. I also brought another UDM SE with me to AU because I could. At the moment I have a SiteMagic site-to-site connection which works just fine for things like proxmox/Plex/NAS access for instance.
Something that I’ve been looking at is being able to route traffic to a specific Country (NL for instance) via the site-to-site VPN connection to go out to the internet via the NL location. A situation I’m already running into is when watching Formula 1 with my F1 TV Pro plan. F1 TV Pro is available in NL but not in AU as a standalone thing. You would need another tv provider like Foxtel I believe to be able to watch it from AU. Meaning live races and timings and all the rest of it is not available when watching from AU. I would have to turn on a client-to-site VPN connection from each device that I use for watching the race live to be able to see it
