Let’s say I bring 100$ to either stake or my local casino, where do I have a better chance at? Or is it about even? All random I assume. I’ve seen people hit huge in real life and on stake. I’ve really never had any crazy wins either place
well I’ll play devils advocate I guess. I’m up $32k on stake and down $26k at my local casino. While I will say both will generally have pretty equal odds of winning/losing, stakes potential wins are generally much higher than that of a casino except for the progressives. For example, I recently hit a 5000x on a slot on stake, and at the casino the Max potential for most of the slots I was playing are typically much lower than that. Go with whatever is more convenient for you honestly.
Generally, online casinos offer higher RTP. However, land casinos generally have the opportunity to play progressive slot machines, which preserve some percentage of the RTP to pay out once some feature has built up. You can view this in two ways: If you are in the know, and know when the machine has “built up” enough, you can get much higher RTP; even a positive amount. If you are not, and don’t know when the machine is “good”, then unsuspectingly happening upon one of these machines when it is “bad” could land you in a situation where your local RTP over the next few hundred or thousands of spins is much lower than what is typically the legal limit.
really depends on what u play, if its table games like blackjack- it comes down to the rules of blackjack that ur local casino follow as compared to online which drastically affects the house edge
online slots dont have to pay for machine maintenance and hence are able to give u a slightly higher RTP as compared to an actual slot machine in the casino
It depends what games you play…different games have different expected value. Most legal casinos in the states have the odds listed for each game if you search for them.
I, personally, would go to your local casino based purely on experience and performance (or lack thereof) on Stake. Down $790. Never booked a win and every bonus feature paid me in cents.
Honestly just do local, It’s more legit and if you win you can peace out right away with your money. Online casinos are deadly especially on mobile from letting you play anywhere anytime and its usually harder to cash out after you win lol
Over millions of spins, stake because they have less overhead and can make their slots return more to the player. With $100 it doesn’t matter because it’s all random anyway with so few spins.

Table games at a real casino with good rules, slots stake.
Local casino for sure, potential is higher on stake but consistency I’d say land based
Free daily dollar and a deposit match of up to $50!
Stake US is the best online social experience
Blackjack isnt a slot though is it. Read the title please.
Expected value and RTP only matters over thousands and thousands of spins. With $100 it’s completely random.
Agree with this. I play at a locals casino. Many of them are affiliated with properties in Vegas. The physical casino is regulated by the state. Even if you don’t win, you can get a nice comped meal and night out on the town
Sportsbet.io shows current RTP’s on the day/month/year for online slots. Floating dragon on stake was up 400% two days ago, I span $20 and got a $850 return on the bonus.
Doesn’t always work but sheesh it felt nice
If it’s a website that allows US customers without a VPN, then stay away from those sites lol. Stake is about as legit as they come as a crypto site though. I get my withdrawals within minutes. Never had a problem getting my money out.
Yes it’s completely random, but that’s not what the question was…
OP asked which has better odds, and said what if they bring $100 as an example. At no point did I say that the $100 x EV would be the equation for exactly what they are walk away with. I’m simply saying that to figure out the odds they should look at what the payouts of the machine are and figure out which have the higher EV.
Some games will have larger jackpot payouts, which means if you play longer or more amount you will get closer to EV. Other games will have larger payouts per a spin and smaller jackpots which means you don’t need to play as many games to get close to EV. However, regardless of the way the game is set up knowing the odds and EV are the only way of determining which will have the best payouts, which is why I gave that answer to the OP.
Is that only the live rtp for that site or would it be for stake to?
