Fast Windows client for NordVPN?

I use NordVPN and I am happy with it as a VPN service. But what I really don’t like is the slow GUI. I don’t want a gigantic map and all the other slow/useless functions. All I want is a connect button, maybe a drop down to select the country, and that’s it. I have to wait for a minute or so just for the GUI to load. Also sometimes the GUI is not logged in to my account and then the also very slow login process has to be repeated. On Linux I use the cli client and I am happy with it.
Is there a faster client for Windows which I can use?

Thank you!

There are instructions out there to download your wireguard credentials on Linux. Once you have those you can use the Windows wireguard client to connect to Nord.

Not a NordVPN user but, anyway to setup on a Router or maybe RaspberryPi, Libre le, Odroid, etc as a VPN gateway?

Iv heard of others using linux terminal to download NordVPN Wireguard(Nordlynx) configs etc to manually create their own WG config files.

Then again depending on your use case & needs OpenVPN may be all you need.
If you prefer or need Wireguard(Using official WG software) then Id suggest a different VPN service.
I still use OpenVPN on my devices often, it’s not some old, outdated, insecure protocol many make it out to be just because WG has come along.

Hmmm, using my Linux device as a getaway might be an interesting way to go. Thank you for the suggestion.

The problem with using the command line functionality is that it still opens the main app. So it’s slow anyway. But thanks for the suggestion
