[HELP] Toggle TunnelBear VPN using AutoInput not working

So I’m trying to set up a profile so that when I connect to public WiFi, TunnelBear opens and automatically toggles on. However, AutoInput doesn’t appear to be working properly. Using Easy Setup, it seems like no matter where I click on the TunnelBear app, it sets the point to (720, 1238). From what I can tell, this is in the ballpark of the bottom-center of the screen, and not the top-center. I have the profile set up as such:

Type: Point

Value: 720, 365 (Inferred from clicking in other apps)

Action: Click

AutoInput works perfectly in other apps, but the one that I actually want it in doesn’t work.

I don’t know if you can use the ‘openVPN for android’ app with tunnel bear, but if you can, there’s a tasker plugin app, inventively called ‘openVPN tasker plugin’, which works well for me.

If you want to get the screen coordinates by an absolute method go into your device’s “Developer Settings” and turn on “Show Pointer Position” or whatever it says.

Then as you swipe your finger over the screen it shows you the point coordinates at the top. Go back to your app, and once you’re in the app figure out the point(s) you need to click, then feed those coordinates into AutoInput.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.

It actually appears that the developers of TunnelBear don’t have accessibility access for their app, so autoinput won’t be able to toggle it.
