How do you get past a schools firewall?

My school blocks me from using Reddit on the internet and I have tried everything I can think of. The only option I thought of that will work is a VPN but I can’t afford a VPN. What are some ways to get around this?

On Chrome and Firefox you can add Hoxx VPN for free, just need to go to extensions. That’s what I always used to do at least

Chromebook: get X-VPN on the play store
Windows and Mac: Get a VPN from chrome web store or AppStore

I just use my phone and get like 6gb of data a month. That said, we rarely use PCs at school and you’d look like a buffon bringing your laptop to school. Eastern Europe gang.

Literally on school wifi right now on my school laptop. They dont even block pornhub. They dont block anything because the municipality hasnt decided if they even should. There’s also free VPNs…

Just don’t use school wifi on your phone

Get hotspot shield. If they haven’t fixed it by now you could just use it for free

I usually use Tor browser, it’s got a built-in VPN using onion routing and it’s pretty damn good. A bit tricky to set up on mobile but on PC it’s just a download and it works fine

If you’re in America, I use Betternet. It works most of the time on my phone, but I don’t know if you’re on a phone or laptop

Hotspot shield, you have to install it and set it up on home wifi for it to work though. Then you’ll be able to turn it on in school. X VPN also works great

Talk to your parents about the benefits of a VPN, and get the Nord with a YouTuber discount. It’s only like 120 dollars for 3 years if I’m not mistaken.

My friends use hotspot shield for everything. I personally find betternet VPN working the best, it loads quick at and does what you need it to do.

Google translate functions as a vpn also. Put the link in and transkate to english.

i suggest downloading the Tor browser

u would have to log into reddit everytime, but it gets past any restrictions put on the wifi for your device so im p sure it would work for the school’s firewall

no clue if u can run it on a chromebook though
