How to access a VPN on all devices?

Just looking for some advice regarding if I wanted to set up a VPN across all devices that I use.

I have a VPN on my laptop that I’ve had for years, not a fancy one. Pretty basic and cheap but it does the job. I’ve just started a free trial for a second VPN on my phone which is a lot better, but a lot more expensive when the trial ends.

If I wanted to use one VPN, and use that across everything (2 smart TV’s, firestick, laptop, two phones), could I subscribe to one and access it on everything? Or would I need to do this at a router level?

If you’re subscribing to a VPN that allows multiple connections at once, then yes you can subscribe to one VPN and access that on everything. Many premium VPNs will give you something like 5 connections at a time.

If you are using a VPN that doesn’t allow for concurrent connections, then yes you can just do it at a router level, if your router supports a VPN connection. Keep in mind that doing it at the router level affects all clients that connect to it and you’d need to disable the connection any time you need to connect to a certain website that doesn’t allow VPN connections.

Thank you, so a premium VPN that allows multiple connections would be ideal rather than getting a VPN on the router. Ive just checked and the one I have a free trial on currently allows multiple connections so I’ll go with that.
