How to clear and remove remote access to my iPhone?

Someone plugged my phone into their computer and got remote access to my iPhone. How do I clear the access

Gaining remote access to an iPhone requires either an app to be installed or a mobile device management policy. If it’s an app, you need to find it and remove it. It will likely be listed under Settings > Privacy and Security > Tracking

If it’s a profile, it will be under Settings > General > VPN and Device Management.

It’s also possible your phone isn’t compromised at all, and they instead have gained access to your iCloud account. In that case, look for any devices you don’t recognize under Settings > iCloud and remove them.

Think long and hard how and why you allow that person to get physical access to your device.

This is the wrong sub but you can try going to Settings → Privacy and Security → Safety Check.

The best thing to do, since you don’t know what was done to your phone, is to erase it and set it up as new. I wouldn’t restore from a backup after that but you can sync with iCloud to get your contacts, photos, etc.

Resetting is Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings.

Good luck and never give your phone or passcode to anyone.

If you are not doing anything wrong, why the concern?

Post got deleted from this subreddit so guess not the place either

Is that going to get the remote access disabled?

okay now this is a weird ass reply ngl

(wrong sub still tho)

You’ll burn for the missing “/s”.

Because he’s creepy and keeps stalking the stuff I do on my
Phone. I want privacy

If you think hard enough it just might

In that case we’re cool lol

i’ve met way too many people who actually think that way, so i didn’t even question it
