Was hoping NordVPN would work for blocking YouTube ads but after doing some searching, it appears that’s not the case, eh?
Before I go back to trying to find the latest/greatest Chrome plugin (my current ones no longer fully trick YouTube) I wanted to confirm that NordVPN isn’t a solution.
Route through an Albanian server. No youtube ads in Albania (yet).
Mongolia also works!
NordVPN does not block ads that are embedded in the website or the application so it will not work.
Good tip, though just to confirm…that’s not actually blocking ads. Just routing through a country that doesn’t have any ads yet?
