Disable opera gx VPN
Test with DNS over HTTPS turned on at the URL opera://settings/system.
Only in OperaGX? Did you test any other browsers?

Maybe your antivirus is blocking it.
to fix your issue. please uninstall “opera gx” or known as “chinese spyware”

It appended the same problem to me 1month ago and I fixed it disabling the default VPN of browser
If that works, it means your system or router or ISP has DNS issues or purposely blocks certain sites.
Using custom DNS servers for your system or router can provide a fix for all programs.
It actually is Chinese, idk where you got Russia from…

Yandex is Russian, opera is Chinese. You might have mixed up both?
do i need to reset the setting cause i did disable vpn in the setting ? the reset setting says It will also disable all extensions and clear temporary data, like cookies, can it help me in this situation ?
