Hello,
As per the title, is it possible to create a VPN profile on the native iPhone client and have it to connect to the ASA via IKEv2/IPSEC? I have been trying all day but the ASA sees it as an attempt of L2L, I suspect that the only way is to use the AnyConnect client, but at the moment we dont have a license to test it and I was asked to see if it is possible to connect to the ASA using built-in iOS VPN client instead, without purchasing the license. I hope this makes sense.
which ASA you got? what’s running software version?
Is IPsec enabled for remote access connections? I often turn it off. If it is off it isn’t going to work period.
So post your current remote access VPN configs (sanitized of course).
this is awesome. i bash apple sometimes, but they value their customer experience
hiya, thank you. The version is 9.20(2)10 and its a ASAv hosted in Azure.
Yes, IPSec is enabled for Remote Access, I will see if I can get the sanitized config ready. Thank you. I appreciate is nearly impossible to work this out without seeing the config.
