I was using my VPN when the speeds from the server hit 0. I tried reconnecting to different servers but they would not work. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting tips from the customer service and they couldn’t fix it. They said they would get back to me in 3 days. I tried different protocols, a clean reinstall of the VPN, rebooting everything, and disabling my firewall in my antivirus and my router temporarily but none of it worked. I have the VPN on my phone too and I tested it there and it also would not connect when on WIFI but would connect on 4G. So I don’t think the issue is the computer I think it’s either the ISP is blocking the VPN, my router decided to start blocking the VPN, or the VPN servers have some type of bug. I also flushed the DNS through command prompt on windows.
I contacted my ISP and they claimed they weren’t blocking it but they could be lying or the customer service agent just didn’t know. In my router settings there is an option to traceroute and I saw online some people say you can use this to tell if the ISP is blocking the VPN servers but I don’t know how to do that and interpret the data. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try?
