Reddit is currently unreachable from my country .I don’t usually need VPN so I don’t really wanna buy one.

Most of free VPN are like plague or ebola. If it’s only for Reddit, give a try to opera browser or recently Firefox : they added a build in VPN service that works pretty well (but you’ll have to browse Reddit from web, not an app though)

Tor browser might work as well but is slower and more sluggish (for a good reason though)

ProtonVPN has a decent free service if you need it. Not very good compared to paid plan (might be proton, nordvpn etc) but that could be enough for Reddit

Windscribe free account has 10gb every month, if you need only for reddit I think it will be enough

I doubt that free vpn would be the best option for you, since you might become a product yourself. Why don’t you just look for some deals for reliable vpns, e.g. I got Nordvpn with a deal from r/vpncoupons and the price was really decent. For free I think proton is the best and secure one. 1.1.1.1 is ok but I can’t change playstore location with it. When I check my ip when using it , it still shows my real ip.

Surfshark supports unlimited devices (perfect for sharing) and is ad-free, but it costs a couple of dollars per month.

Warp is free & unlimited but warp+, which is faster, will cost you small amount of money per month (each country has different prices according to the price of a big mac)

But even warp is fast enough I don’t notice any slowdown, while using any app.

Also, if your country blocks Reddit at DNS level (like here in Indonesia) you could just use the 1.1.1.1 private dns, no vpn needed.
