I am trying to use my newly purchased MX Master 3S in my office at the moment, but the Logi Options+ installer keeps failing to download the full installation. It seems that it is ignoring the proxy settings of the corporate network I am on. Is it possible for the full offline installation to be released or have the current installer to be fixed to address this issue? This is a total dealbreaker for me.
EDIT: Thanks to u/ohiokuma for highlighting this solution.
Offline installer: https://prosupport.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/10991109278871-Logitech-Options-Offline-Installer#
I’m having the same issue. When I attempt to install the software, it first downloads the required content, then gets into the “installing” step and the installing window simply closes. Just received the MX Master 3s, it’s a huge problem for me as I cannot change DPI or set button bindings.
Just got my Mx mechanical mini and the first thing I faced is this problem. Surprised to see this issue in a productivity focused product.
They should add Mx Master 3S/Mx Mechanical support on Logitech Options or hurry up with the Logi Options+ fix.
Not sure if you ever found a solution to this. I ran into the same problem as you described. Everything would ‘download and install’ but after the installation screen finishes and closes, nothing happened nor was the program installed. Logitech (in another Reddit post) suggested I download the offline installer found here:

Still need admin credentials to install. But it seems like this installer would execute the install properly and I could use the application as intended. Haven’t used it long enough to see if updates would be pushed through, but knowing how locked down my corporate network is at work, I go by the mantra, if it ain’t broke don’t fix/update it.
Hope this helps.
Hellow everyone, I’m from Colombia the problema that had was that program logitech options+ does not install and does not dowload the packages, due to this, I to proced to use a vpn free like planetaVPN to can chance my IP from Colombian to US. After this process, I could install normally the software, in their case, you could use the VPN that you prefer, this problem appears for people that from Colombia, it’s true there are people with other different problems but could solve through a VPN different to your country.
This comment is simplely informative, and I search can to help to someone that have a problem with the installation the options+ program
In hopes of keeping this post alive
really grateful I came across it! My scroll wheel stopped working on my M575 and I suspected it was software (it was almost like the mouse would hesitate and then remember it wasn’t allowed to scroll so it would stop). The offline install worked like a charm. I’m on a corporate-owned macbook. I have temporary LAN admin access (and it was RUNNING OUT) so extra happy to get this solved and just in time! Hope other folks find this thread when they have the same issue.
This post helped so much!!! Had to go through this for ergo stuff and this reddit post helped
Better than nothing I guess. The offline is an older version, and is missing many features like AI, autoupdate, Smart actions, etc…
is flow support coming to the offline version or will there be a fix for installing the online version to get flow support?
This worked first time for me after the initial error:
winget install --id Logitech.OptionsPlus --uninstall-previous --scope machine --source winget --force
hope it helps someone.
This helped me in 2024! Got a Mx master mouse for Christmas and had issues with my work laptop.
I had the same problem. I logout the corp wifi and used my phone to connect to internet and installed it. That worked for me.
When setting up my new laptop for work, the download failed in the installer. I used the offline installer, which worked fine at first, but then I realized that the “Flow” option was not showing up in the app. My solution was to uninstall Logi Options+, disable the corporate VPN and reuse the normal installer. After disabling vpn the download worked fine and Flow was showing up.
Hi u/inscythe,
Can you please share the OS version on which you are trying to install the software.
Were you ever able to find a solution to this? Because I am having the same issue. I went to local IT at work, and there is nothing they can do, the network is completely locked down.
ahh so its not only my IT teams that is messing.
I am able to download and install old options easily, but the new options+ is bugging from day1 of beta preview, i had raised multiple times, looks like they are not considering it all…dunno what they gonna do by keeping Setup download on the fly and save in Temp folder ,installing from there.
Share offline setup …please !!!
Same issue here… was anyone able to obtain the offline installer files?
Same issue. Waiting on those offline installation files.
