Anyone else experiencing issues with MC Mac 5.0.12 (5061) connecting after upgrading to 6.5.4.15.116n? It seems that anybody that had previously connected is fine, but new users are getting “X is not a Sonicwall SSL VPN Server”.
I’ve dug through the debug logs and it looks like it’s getting a 404 when trying to a load a config from __api__/config/realms
, which is presumably what the existing users have cached.
This is a known issue at this point and you can ask for a Hotfix firmware by creating a support ticket.
You can get much faster response when creating a web ticket.

Cheers, will get our MSP to sort this out. Hopefully this one is more stable than the last one (have already had our 4650s stuck in a crash loop this week).
Interesting- the crash loop - was that also after upgrading to 6.5.4.15 ?
Ye. Installed the hotfix on 6th September, and then on 10th September just as people were getting into the office, both 4650s in HA were crashing after about 3 minutes. We powered both off for about 5 minutes, and they’ve been stable since. We did also unplug our Unifi Cloudkey, but I think it’s incredibly unlikely that’s the root cause, especially as we’d not changed anything on it for about a month.
Could just be a coincidence, but we’ve not had them failing like that since we installed 6.5.4.14-111n to fix a memory leak with SSLVPN.
