I am currently on vacation in slovenia and there are shows that are not available in slovenia but are in my home country so I use a VPN. But Netflix knows that I am in slovenia, so these shows are still not available for me. I already tried clearing the cache and using another server but nothing worked. How can I fix this?

Did u try split tunneling ur vpn for Netflix app
Are you on a mobile device with gps/location enabled. Not sure about Netflix but I have other apps that read the phones actual location vs where the network traffic originates/goes to.
I don’t have any other VPN and expressVPN worked fine for me before this, I had it for over a year and it always worked.
U tried this, but i am not sure why this would help?
I turned my location off and also blocked the access to my location for Netflix
I used the Netflix app for Android, could this also be a cause of this problem? and by the way i had turned GPS location off.
I believe sometimes IPs get blacklisted and you have to wait until they fix them
I would make sure your nextflix app isn’t running in background. Go to your vpn than setting. Don’t know your layout but it’s 3rd option on mine. Split tunnel and select Netflix. I personally restarted my device after just because I’ve been working on computers and tech for 27 years and when I change major settings especially trying to sneak a vpn past someone. I always recommend a restart
