Not working with my VPN…

What’s happening with LastPass? It used to work so well and now if I attempt to use it with my VPN on it says it doesn’t recognize my device and I get in endless loop of trying to verify my device…

There is a setting in LP that can be set to limit which country can access the vault. It’s looking at assigned IP addresses for each country. If that setting is in effect and you are using a VPN so that it appears you are accessing LP from another country, then you will be blocked. So be sure your VPN is set to appear as if you are coming from your home country or whatever may be set as your default country.

You can verify where LP thinks you’re located by any of multiple methods, e.g. go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ or https://www.ipaddress.com/

Always use the same device that you are using LP from. Do not mix PC & mobile or Wi-Fi and cellular data because they will all show different IP addresses.
