OperaVPN not working

I have Kaspersky standard as AntiVirus and it works well before. However, after the recent update of kaspersky, opera’s vpn is no longer working.

How to solve this?

The built-in VPN or Opera’s VPN Pro?

The built-in one is working fine for me on Windows 11 23H2 for what it’s worth. If you totally disable Kaspersky (as a test) does the VPN start working?

I have been havin issues with it for a while, did you figure it out?

the built-in VPN. I have not tried disabling Kaspersky yet, but I am sure it has something to do with Kaspersky due to the recent update. I only had this problem after updating kaspersky.

Maybe there’s a new setting that needs to be messed with or some setting got reset. Maybe others in r/antivirus are encountering it too. I would check https://forum.kaspersky.com/ too if you haven’t already.

it’s a Kaspersky problem with all VPNs, they’re working on pushing a fix soon(ish)
