Review of 2022 - Blog | Mullvad VPN
Another “milestone” would be Mullvad completely forgetting they have an iOS app to maintain.
The only thing I wish for 2023 is being able to use more than 5 devices at once. I don’t care if this comes at an additional expense, but 5 devices is simply not enough for $current_year.
I know I could make a second account, but then I have to remember which devices are logged in with which account and I have two account interfaces to manage ports/keys. This is inconvenient.
Does anyone have issues with the iOS app blocking internet connection or just plain not working? I have to reconnect to switch servers at least 10 times a day because it just does not work.
Is Mullvad going to get an ad blocking feature?
It is still being developed from what I can see: GitHub - mullvad/mullvadvpn-app: The Mullvad VPN client app for desktop and mobile
It also appears that they’re hiring: Senior iOS developer - Mullvad VPN
Maybe this is why it isn’t moving that fast?
In fact, if you use the mullvad client it’s not even 5 devices/connections, but 5 installations. A new limitation that hurts most users, but which they strangely boast in this post.
Yeah, this is a real problem. I’ve actually just had to switch to ProtonVPN, which is a shame because I prefer Mullvad.
5 concurrent devices is fine, but 5 devices limit is a pain in the neck to juggle that I can’t be dealing with.
Yeah up it to 10 please! (Or more)
Yes me and why I’m leaving Mullvad. The app is horrible

Connecting is very buggy for me, and I’d like as close as possible feature parity between the desktop and mobile apps.
Well you don’t have to guess you can check the first 5 characters of the random wireguard numbers. I agree though Mullvad keep releasing features for desktop which are not released for the mobile apps. Such as the naming convention and the ability to filter by server provider.
