Cato Networks is a carrier you should definitely look at. They focus on converged SD-WAN + Security/Firewall appliances. Their SD-WAN routing and intelligence is done in the cloud, and they offer additional security services and direct/cloud connections into most major hosted cloud providers. Their SD-WAN is “co-managed” meaning customers have full control but can call on Cato Networks if they need support.
We’re a partner with them and represent 30 other SD-WAN carrier; Cato has shown to be a leader in this space and constantly developing their solutions. Happy to connect you with some key people there and setup some demos.
I had been thinking about this idea, client connects to the nearest SD-WAN appliance for access to the fabric. Zscaler ZPA is probably the closest solution to this concept I have seen but am interested to see if anyone comes up with a better suggestion.
It’s not technically an SD-WAN as it doesn’t bundle the service, but iQuila would allow for you to connect with your existing network using both hardware and software clients.
u/UserAgent99 mentioned a VPN and whilst iQuila is not a VPN (it’s a unique protocol), it does a similar sort of thing but on Layer 2.
I do work with iQuila but hopefully this won’t get downvoted as it does answer the question asked.
The very best solution is 128 Technology with WireGuard clients. The clients work on every device (Android, Apple, Windows, Mac, etc) and allow direct assignment of specific routes to each client.
When you already have CPPM in place than this should definitely be something to look at. The whole eco system with Aruba Central is getting better and better.
