Did you find any solution? I want to download Spotify mod.apk! Mine suddenly stopped playing music today (Version: 8.8.96.364). I tried all other available mod.apks, but nothing worked. I also tried logging in with alternative accounts and changing my password, but it still didn’t work. For months, it wasn’t showing lyrics or opening direct links received or sent to others. Now, it has completely stopped. Please don’t suggest alternatives; I send and receive songs only on Spotify. Country: India.

So the news just came out that spotify has banned all the premium modded versions of the app. Many people cannot play songs anymore in the modded versions and also they cannot view their playlists. It almost seemed to me that I would have to cave in and pay premium for listening to ad free music. But there is still a way.
Go to playstore and search “Spotube” download the app and login, after logging in you can connect to spotify from the app and you will be able to access your playlists and music in a completely new user interface. You can even download songs and stream them ad free. So I hope this people like me who don’t want to pay premium for listening to music. Do share if this helps.

There is currently no alternative that is working like revanced and xmanager but I had the same problem like the direct links for songs that open in the browser instead of Spotify and they updated it to show lyrics like 2 weeks ago but yeah we must wait patiently or get any other song apps that is ad-less :pensive_face:

  1. Connect vpn to united kingdom (i am using pawxy vpn)

  2. Open this link in browser : Login - Spotify

  3. Log in with your credentials

  4. Change region to united kingdom

  5. Click ‘save profile’

  6. Force stop Spotify app and restart the app

Keep vpn turned on while using the app

This method is outdated, follow the steps below :backhand_index_pointing_down:t2:

  1. Download latest xmanager from : Releases · Team-xManager/xManager · GitHub (latest version is 5.8 when i am typing this,it may differ depending on when you are seeing this)

  2. Install and give necessary permissions which it will ask

  3. Click the beaker icon and turn on ‘experimental version’ DON’T TURN ON THE CLONED VERSION

  4. Download latest version 9.0.26.341 (version may differ depending on when you are seeing this)

  5. Download revanced manager from : Releases · ReVanced/revanced-manager · GitHub (latest version is 1.24.0 when i am typing this,it may differ depending on when you are seeing this)

  6. Install and give necessary permissions which it will ask, go to settings and turn on ‘allow changing patch selection’ and ‘save patched app’

  7. Go to the patcher section, click ‘select an app’

  8. In the bottom right select ‘storage’

  9. Select the Spotify mod version 9.0.26.341 which you downloaded in step 4

  10. Click the section ‘selected patches’

  11. It will show a warning screen, check the checkbox ‘don’t show this again’ and click ‘ok’

  12. You can select all 3 patches, first 2 are optional but the 3rd one is MANDATORY i.e. ‘spoof signature’

  13. Click ‘done’ on the bottom right

  14. Click ‘patch’ on the bottom right

  15. Now it will patch the Spotify apk

  16. When the process is finished, you can install Spotify apk from bottom right ‘install’ button, but i would recommend to first click the SAVE button on the bottom left and save it in a folder

  17. Install the apk and login with your main account,you can now see your playlists showing all your songs.

I think I got few spotify versions which works fine (no downloading songs option though), after days of searching. Those who want, can try downloading from here (latest link): Spotify mod apk 2024 – Google Drive Check out the last uploaded one, latest link here for best available one (No VPN required, No downloading song options, rest all is fine as of now, make sure to keep playstore protect off always)

For some reason I can’t access my account now I changed the password a couple of times but in my pc works. It’sin my phone when it says incorrect password

Man legit i thought i was the only one mines also not working and my Spotify is also connected to alexa and now if i ask alexa to play a song it doesn’t play anything nor on the app nor on alexa and were u able to find a solution?

Okay, so this method actually works. My previous Spotify mod stopped working starting this evening too. Tbh using this method adds extra 15 to 20 secs from turning the VPN on to streaming music itself.

I’m using a VPN named as SuperVPN- Hotspot shield VPN. It’s free and requires no registration, has a max speed cap with a few ads.

I’d appreciate it if someone could suggest some other way or any other VPN too :). Thank you.

I am from India and faced a similar issue. I used the VPN method to change my location to UK and it seems to be working for now. Let’s see next.

What worked for me:
Go to your pc connect to a vpn - Try a US based server- and change the country in your spotify account to USA or whatever country your vpn connected you to. I strongly recommend USA.
Then download spotify or spotify lite from x manager or x manager telegram channel. Connect to a vpn on your phone and open spotify app.

You should be able to use it as normal.
You need to connect to a vpn to play songs otherwise it won’t work.

Alternatively you can use grayjay app and download your spotify playlist to listen offline.
