Steam Turkish region test

I tried using PIA VPN with dedicated Turkish IP and creating a new steam account but it always blocked it telling me to turn off the VPN so not sure if it may work for you. I also bought 2 turkish steam accounts and tried to top it up through FUPS with 800TL and it worked initially but the accounts always got refunded and blocked by steam after 2 days most. On my “old” Turkish steam account which ive been using for a year it works all good and i simply share games to my main account with no problems.

Tuxler is free. Premium is only for data centers. I can use residential for free just fine.

yes my phone number in Steam is Iranian number . in past they are even send me SMS, but i think phone number is not a issue steam more looks to resident country base login IP . so we must more login with steam region IP to reduce Revert chance . however its looks like the moment we disconnect from vpn its immediately saves real IP

since so many Vpns not works in Iran due dictator regime i didn’t test this 100%, that its immediately saves real IP or not (just saves when we exit)
some time even when i go to Login History page, there is red text error and not shows ip

if you are reverted and still have time , can you please test this ?
you can login with vpn then disconnect and play games . then the moment you want exit steam connect to vpn again then exit steam

after doing this 2-3 days you can go to Recent Login History page and see is there any IP related your real country or not

Thank you for your input. May I know how you managed to use a dedicated Turkish IP with PIA VPN ? Turkey is not in the list of the compatible countries on their website.

I just tested it for 20 minutes. Everything took ages to load and I couldn’t browse on the Internet half of the time. That doesn’t seem like an alternative for me.

I tried, I log in with the vpn active, once inside I removed it and played f1 manager for 20min then I closed steam (with vpn disconnected). I reactivated the vpn and via browser I went to see login history and it results from the country of the vpn. the problem in my opinion is that some vpns are flagged (nordvpn for example) by steam so even if it appears that it works, steam knows that you have used a vpn

Not entirely sure but i think it was there, cant check right now though since Im not on my pc but ill try checking and replying once im home.

Well, it is a residential ip, after all.

n and via browser I went to see login history and it results from the country of the vpn. the problem in my opinion is that some vpns are flagged (nordvpn for example) by steam

you can try urban vpn only problem is, some time in Argentina server its connecting to USA, instead of Argentina

this time please Test both login and logout with vpn

i activated the vpn (Windscribe Turkey) i logged in, i deactivated the vpn and i stayed 10 minutes on the client, i reactivated the vpn and i disconnected. i reconnected and this time from the steam app i saw the login history and it is US (my real ip is european)

yeah Windscribe free has this issue turkey server its not Turkey ip
try urban vpn for turkey

Done. Country TR. works

oh did you test that ? is steam saves your real IP between that period ?
