Anyone else having this issue? When I try to connect (server doesn’t seem to matter), it gets to 95% and then never fully connects. I’ve let it sit for several minutes.
It was working yesterday for me.
When it first failed today, I saw there was an update for Surfshark, so I went and installed that (after uninstalling old version). It’s still having the same issue for me.
Any recommendations?
EDIT: Resolved by changing Protocol to OpenVPN (UDP), per support’s instruction.

Thanks Automod! I do not see the rules on the sidebar, so I wasn’t aware of them. I reached out to Surfshark’s chat support and they were able to resolve my issue.
Usually ikev and open vpn work better specially ikev under Windows.
How did you change the protocol to OpenVPN (UDP)?

Hi! To change protocol go to the Surfshark app - Settings - VPN Settings - Protocol. Select the OpenVPN (UDP) option and try to connect.
Yep surfshark removed ikev 4 or so months ago.
Hence the comment is 6.months old.
