Oh I know that it pops up regardless of whether you have a VPN or not, just thought to add it for context.
OP is using Surfshark
Yes, I’m using Surfshark but I’d look into alternatives as it does have occasional connectivity issues for me and I’m doing captchas way more often than I’d like. Once the contract is up I’ll likely look at switching.
This is a pop up generated by IOBit’s software, an ad block for web sites doesn’t work for executable.
It got the point with Uninstaller Pro it was doing this so often that I uninstalled it for good.
What IOBit program are you using? I could find an alternative.
I wouldn’t even bother. Looks like it’s some Ccleaner-esque tool, which I wouldn’t bother installing myself either.
Just empty your recycle bin from time to time, use Windows’ own cleaning tool (win+r → cleanmgr), and disable unnecessary startup items using Task Manager.
This stuff is always funny to me. Yeah, dust and shit builds up, but can be remedied by singular programs that don’t consistently try to hog the whole thing themselves. Y’all don’t need advanced system care.
That little colored thing shown in OP’s photo at the bottom right.
Bcuninstaller is a good open source alternative
Thanks I was using ccleaner and iobit one after the other
You don’t need any. Windows Update does that for you, and the Device Manager program (already installed on Windows) can be used to force update drivers or reinstall broken ones.
