They changed that loophole a few years back - you can’t pay with a foreign card now (I had Polish Eurosport while that lasted as it was only £15 a year).
Even with a VPN it’s not without some very nerdy shenanigans
“How dare you give us money!”
-Rights holders, apparently
Curious to know if anyone has tried this. I’ve gone very far down some rabbit holes that are questionably legal at best before throwing in the towel, only to come back several days later and think, “Maybe I’ll find another way around.” I always end up back at, “This is probably a bad idea.”
What? On an iPhone you can cancel their month to month in the subscriptions section of iPhones settings like any other subscription you have. Takes two seconds
No, but I pay for YouTube premium. (No ads on YouTube or YouTube Music) though before I paid for premium, the ad blocker I ran on my web browser did a good job removing YT ads (but not on smart TV or mobile, hence why I went premium).
Looks like there were at least 3 live streams of Exact Cross Zilvermeercross Mol on Friday
That’s super lame! Tiz it is
Can confirm, that the current instance of B/R (which I have) does not have any on-demand sports. Everything is live-stream and then it dissapears.
That’s the one I was using unfortunately. Did it give you the prices in dollars or pounds? Mine is showing dollars which surprised me,
I heard that using PayPal with Eurosport is possible to bypass this? Has anyone heard this or know if it true?
Well WBD doesn’t have the rights to most races in USA, which is why it is geoblocked. And they want to take your money by making you pay for Max and the B/R sports add on for the rights they do have
Might be Apple’s terms but most people complain about it. I won’t go near them again. Plus, the whole setup is seemingly amateur hour.
Mine was in dollars. Surprised me as well, but it worked.
Last thing to try - does your device have a SIM card? If so, go into airplane mode with wifi only and VPN. The sim card might be providing location data.
(My tablet is wifi only)
Their commentary is painfully bad. You could put someone who has never seen a bike before in the booth and do better
I like the idea but still no sadly. I don’t think the issue is related to it thinking I’m located in the UK, as using other European countries VPNs (Spain, Germany ext) give errors when trying to sign in, and with no VPN (US) the app doesn’t let me even get past the loading screen. So I think it’s just a payment location issue probably. Several credit cards and my PayPal all show the same error. Thanks for trying, but hopefully someone else with the same issue will find a work around.
Having the same issue. Looks like they may have closed the google play gift card loophole.
