I haven’t been able to find ones that work or outright charge $60 a month
I don’t know where you find a vpn that charges 60$ a month (that’s insane) but use protonvpn (protonvpn.com) it is the #1 recommended in this subreddit, as well as mullvad.
Use proton, it’s reliable, cheap and well known VPN along with Mullvad(which doesn’t offer port forwarding)
Windscribe 10Gb free / month
Windscribe. $3 a month for 3 countries or if you do a lot of torrenting, choose unlimited data and 2 countries.
if you just want to access websites blocked by your ISP and you’re just planning to stream videos and not download torrents: WARP by cloudfare. It’s free and works great. It works like a vpn without it being one .
Mullvad. It’s a little over $5 per month

There are no free VPNs. Maybe a few Trials but not more than 10GB.
Proton vpn yearly plan can be really cheap
Pia is doing a great deal right now.
Works well and allows for port forwarding.
Everyone saying Proton but they’ve recently started handing over data if compelled by warrant
Idk I just use air vpn with a forwarded port in BitTorrent. It’s like 5$ a month and I get good (500+) speeds
what do you need it for? Changing your geolocation to other countries to watch Netflix USA? Downloading movies from torrent sites?
There are no good free VPNs and who in the world charges $60 per month? I’m paying less than $3 per month for PIA.
I recommend you look at the deals section of Slashdot. That’s where I found my current VPN lifetime membership and the one before that for $50 and $35 respectively.
Sorry for piggybacking off OP’s post but does anyone have recommendations for VPNs that support several devices (I’m talking at least 4-5, but ideally more; I’m looking into hooking up my whole family with a VPN lol) without the cost rising ridiculously high? The main one I’ve found with unlimited device access on the same subscription is Private Internet Access, but I’m unsure if that’s the best option available. TIA!

best one i’ve come across by far
If you ever get a chance to buy a “Lifetime” sub for a decent VPN, do it… I’ve been using mine for 15 years…
People in this sub have a different definition of “cheap” than I do. I call my 2 year Nord subscription which I paid $17-18 ($20 CAD) for it “cheap.” It’s been working wonderfully as intended.
