Streaming your content through Mongolia can’t be great for the quality of your streams which are being dragged halfway around the world, rather than from the closest CDN node.

Nice but I don’t need movie poster screenshots all over my screen… I would consider that ads as well. Call me old school but a simple launcher with just the app icons are enough for me. That’s what I love about Flauncher. Simple and not a memory hog like the stock launcher. I ben keeping my RAM usage on standby below 800 MB. Also I like the layout of SmartTube with no ads and sponsor block.

It is also recommended to uninstall updates from Android TV Home at Settings > Device Preferences > Storage > Internal Shared Storage > Apps > Show system apps > Android TV Home

OK adiós :waving_hand: I don’t need official YouTube and haven’t used it in years, not on my phone or on android tv or on my laptop. And I don’t like the stock launcher either

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think you can also set your country to Albania for the same result. Might be better if you’re in Europe and plan on getting a better ping/connection speed.

Good tip though but I’ll be sticking with FLauncher.

P.S. there are other countries where monetization is not allowed → Youtube Monetization Countries List The list is for Youtube but I’d imagine it would remove the ads on Google TV/Android TV launcher as well due to the absense of Google AdSense.

Just change DNS to some sinkhole one, blocking all ads/trackers.
